Sourcing and Procurement Officer

About the role

The Sourcing and Procurement Officer will manage purchase orders, ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and drive cost‑saving initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with internal project, finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with business needs while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Identify potential suppliers, conduct qualifications and evaluations, and drive cost‑saving initiatives through competitive sourcing and negotiation.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Project, Finance and Operations to align procurement activities with business requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts and supplier performance, and prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost savings.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or an engineering discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or procurement, preferably in a direct or indirect procurement environment.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or EPC project‑based procurement is an advantage.
• Results‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with suppliers and internal teams.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI.
