Staff Site IT Manager - MRO Infrastructure

About the role

GE Aerospace is looking for a Staff Site IT Manager for its Singapore site, which is the largest engine component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in the Asia Pacific region. The role owns end-to-end reliability, security and performance of the site IT/OT infrastructure supporting MRO operations, ensuring zero disruption to safety, quality and delivery while aligning with GE Aerospace global standards. It sits on the shop leadership team and partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS and HQ Digital/Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change processes, provide on-call escalation for production-impacting issues, and drive proactive monitoring, root-cause analysis and asset lifecycle management to maintain SLAs and availability
• Partner with shop leadership and global teams to plan and execute changes and projects (new lines, MES/data capture, AI/analytics pilots, expansions and re-layouts) safely during production windows
• Manage vendors and telcos to meet SLAs and control costs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT Operations (site-level leadership preferred)
• Demonstrated incident management in 24x7 operations and effective communication in a matrixed global organization
• On-site at the Singapore site

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of digital tools, systems and technologies relevant to manufacturing and aerospace
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred: 8-12+ years in infrastructure/operations leadership with plant/shopfloor IT and OT exposure (MES, industrial networks)
• Preferred: experience with ITIL processes, vendor and contract management, ISA-95, OT security and segmented industrial networks, and prior work in regulated or safety-critical environments
