Technical Planner Trainee - Line Maintenance

About the role

SIA Engineering Company, the maintenance, repair and overhaul arm of Singapore Airlines, is offering a 5-month classroom and practical training programme with on-the-job training (OJT) to train Technical Planners. Selected applicants complete the programme and are then appointed as Technical Planners in the Line Maintenance Division.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work input received from the customer.
• Make sure planned tasks are completed by their due dates.
• Monitor and plan deferred defects so they are fixed on time.
• Facilitate the daily task assignment process in the Line Maintenance Division and share the plan at daily meetings.
• Monitor and update various reports, keeping them up to date for stakeholders.
• Generate and maintain the daily work plan for all scheduled activities.
• Coordinate with other operational sections in the division to ensure tasks are accepted and completed.
• Other roles and duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in any engineering discipline; degree in engineering for non-Singaporean candidates.
• Fluent English with good communication skills.
• Strong interest in a technical role in aviation.
