VP, Global Payment Solutions Operations (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to lead Global Payment Solutions Operations on a 12‑month contract. The role will own end‑to‑end operational delivery, drive change initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across payments, cheques, screening, time deposits and account maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for payments, cheques, screening, time deposits and account maintenance, ensuring transactions are authorized within delegated limits.
• Deliver agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain high service quality and customer outcomes.
• Own and drive operational change initiatives and industry projects with controlled governance and on‑time implementation.
• Engage proactively with internal customers and senior stakeholders across in‑country and global teams to improve service performance.
• Oversee outsourced activities, ensuring contractual compliance and implementing workflow improvements.
• Maintain robust controls, audit readiness and operational risk management, monitoring exceptions and activating contingency plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations and processing within a regulated banking environment.
• Proven ability to manage SLA delivery, capacity planning, productivity and cost control.
• Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, audit and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with influence across functions and regions.
• Demonstrated people‑leadership capabilities, including coaching, performance management and fostering a collaborative culture.
