Analyst, Development Services - Analytical Development

About the role

Lonza Singapore is hiring an Analyst for its Development Services team, based at the Tuas site. This is a fully site-based role focused on analytical testing of antibodies and other therapeutic recombinant proteins, working closely with colleagues in person.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory work supporting analytical testing on antibodies and other therapeutic recombinant proteins.
• Under supervision, author method development and validation study protocols and reports, delivering high-quality, GMP-compliant data where applicable.
• Use techniques such as capillary electrophoresis, HPLC/UPLC, spectrophotometry, ELISAs and qPCR.
• Support analytical work for other functional teams and contribute scientific data to customer projects.
• Work with site and global project teams to deliver project milestones on time.
• Facilitate communication between departments in Singapore (e.g. QC/QA, SCM, EHS).

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant science field or equivalent.
• Agile and fast learner.
• Open to recent graduates and candidates with 1-2 years of laboratory experience; the pay is commensurate with experience.
• Practical laboratory experience in analytical testing of antibodies or recombinant proteins is advantageous, though training is provided.

Required skills

• Good understanding of cGMP concepts.
• Analysis of recombinant proteins is an added advantage.
