Assistant Operations Manager - Lounge

About the role

Accor, in partnership with one of the world's leading airlines, manages the lounge operations at Changi Airport. It is looking for a proactive, service-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day lounge operations, ensure smooth service delivery and operational efficiency, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements. The role plays a key part in upholding hospitality standards and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily Food & Beverage lounge operations, maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
• Manage team rostering and manpower allocation to meet operational needs.
• Train, coach and develop team members through onboarding, on-the-job training and performance guidance.
• Keep food, beverage and amenity stock orders at optimal levels.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene, food safety and presentation standards under company, airport and local regulations.
• Ensure the team knows menus and beverages well to deliver a consistent guest experience.
• Oversee lounge readiness and mise-en-place during operating hours.
• Handle guest feedback and escalated service issues promptly and professionally.
• Support operational improvements, new projects, vendor management and departmental audits, and monitor team performance and productivity.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in hospitality or lounge operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven ability to inspire and develop teams in a luxury service environment.
• Professional grooming and flexibility with shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service mindset with attention to detail.
• Food Hygiene certification required.
