Assistant Vice President, Corporate & Commercial

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for an Assistant Vice President to join its Corporate & Commercial team in Singapore. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office. It sits within a well-established, professional broking team and offers exposure across Marsh McLennan and access to global colleague resource groups.

Key responsibilities

• Help prepare, manage, implement and achieve business plans and goals.
• Strengthen long-term relationships with key client decision-makers and monitor political, management and other changes in client organisations.
• Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, meeting agreed service standards.
• Develop additional business from existing portfolios and other sources, and implement account retention and defence strategies.
• Assist claims personnel in negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients.
• Build strong working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison.
• Keep up to date with all major classes of insurance offered and new technical and product developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Relevant experience in Property and Casualty insurance in the Singapore market preferred.
• Minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI); ANZIIF or ACII is an added advantage.
