Associate Operations Manager, Embedded Consulting Services

About the role

Control Risks is seeking an Associate Operations Manager to support and drive its Embedded Consulting Services business, focusing on excellence in operations and project management. The role ensures delivery of commercial, administrative and world-class operational support and is a regional position centred on South East Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operational management of a major embedded security operations programme in Singapore, meeting client requirements, contractual obligations and Control Risks standards.
• Support the delivery of embedded consulting services across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia Pacific region.
• Act as a key operational point of contact for consultants and client stakeholders, escalating strategic, commercial and personnel matters where appropriate.
• Manage project administration and business operations for client engagements, keeping them consistent, accurate and compliant with internal processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to operational processes, delivery effectiveness and service quality.
• Work with the Business Operations team to maintain project administration to the highest standard.
• Support resource planning, including consultant databases, workforce planning tools and deployment tracking.
• Assist with the selection, recruitment, onboarding, training, contracting and deployment of consultants, and support their performance management and professional development.
• Contribute to resource management tools, processes and information systems.
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders, identify additional support needs and support contract administration, renewals, extensions and revenue management.
• Assist in preparing proposals, scopes of work and other commercial documentation, and contribute operational insights to business development.
• Support the ECS leadership in growing the Southeast Asia Embedded Consulting Services portfolio and coordinate with regional and global colleagues.

Required profile

• Essential: experience in an operations, project management, consulting, security, intelligence, government, military or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills, stakeholder relationship building and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and pay close attention to detail.
• Desirable: experience supporting large-scale operations or security operations centres, exposure to recruitment, onboarding or workforce planning, proposal and budget preparation, and regional or multinational experience.

Required skills

• Essential: project and commercial management skills; degree-level education or relevant commercial experience; developed Microsoft Office skills.
• Preferred: security or risk consulting qualification, SEA language skills, and HR or people-focused qualifications or experience.
