Purchaser Assistant

About the role

Fuku is hiring a full-time Purchaser Assistant in Singapore. The role supports the procurement process by handling purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and keeping records.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and help compare prices, specifications and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers on product availability, pricing, delivery schedules and order status.
• Follow up on outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Clarify specifications, quantities and delivery requirements with internal departments.
• Prepare procurement reports, purchasing summaries and other documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and record-keeping.
• Perform other procurement and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or administrative support is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and record-keeping skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, written and spoken, is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Effective communication with suppliers and internal departments.
