About the role
A newly opened restaurant in a 4-star hotel in Central, Singapore, is looking for a bartender / drink manager. The restaurant offers Japanese and French fusion cuisine with a head chef from Tokyo, Japan. The position is full-time, permanent and based in Central, within walking distance of the MRT station.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily bar operations
- Take charge of bar prep, stock levels and timing
- Keep the bar clean, safe and running smoothly
- Maintain drinks hygiene standards and workplace safety
- Assist the head bartender with cost management, quality control and training new staff
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of alcohol such as cocktails and sake
- Able to work weekends and public holidays
- Good team player, self-motivated and passionate about service and people
Required skills
- Cocktail preparation
- Serving sake
- Stirring and shaking cocktails (preferred)
What we offer
- Pay of SGD 4,000 to 4,500
- Weekdays 3pm to 12am, weekends 10am to 12am, five days a week on shift rotation
