About the role

Pullman Singapore Hill Street, a 350-room hotel by the Accor group, is hiring a full-time Bellman. The hotel features a rooftop bar and executive lounge with views over Fort Canning, the Singapore River and St Andrew's Cathedral, a vibrant lobby, a health and fitness centre and a pool. The role greets guests at the entrance and supports arrivals and departures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests at the main entrance, using their names whenever available
• Liaise with the front desk on all arrivals and departures
• Assist in driveway management and open and close vehicle doors
• Collect and deliver guest luggage and equipment efficiently and on time
• Provide information and other assistance to guests when needed
• Keep the entrance and baggage room clean
• Help the concierge book taxis on guest request
• Alert Security or the Duty Manager to suspicious people or items in the lobby
• Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel products and services

Required profile

• Secondary or high school education
• Good reading and oral English
• No experience required; training is provided
• Ability to work effectively in a team

Required skills

• Good communication and customer contact skills
• Speaking other languages and a basic understanding of local languages is an advantage
