About the role

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Business Recruiter to lead end‑to‑end hiring for APAC technical business roles within its B2B and go‑to‑market organisation. The role partners closely with senior leaders to shape talent strategy and deliver high‑impact hires.

Key responsibilities

• Own full recruitment lifecycle for APAC positions, from scoping to offer and close.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to define hiring strategies aligned with business priorities.
• Design and execute proactive, data‑informed sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high‑calibre talent.
• Provide trusted advisory to hiring managers, maintaining a high hiring bar and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
• Navigate global hiring complexities with People, Legal, and Compensation teams to ensure fairness and compliance.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes and deliver market intelligence to influence talent decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high‑growth, high‑bar environments.
• Proven track record hiring for business functions such as Sales, Technical Success, RevOps, Partnerships, or User Ops.
• Strong talent judgment with ability to assess experience and potential.
• Strategic partnership mindset, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and handling ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across regions and cultures.

Required skills

• Experience with modern recruiting tools (e.g., Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Data‑driven approach to sourcing and pipeline management.
