Cashier – Changi Airport Retail

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our duty‑free retail team at Changi Airport. You will be the front‑line representative, handling all payment transactions and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for travellers.

Key responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash, credit and other payment methods.
• Collect, withdraw and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Maintain stock of receipt rolls, STEB bags and other inventory items.
• Perform daily housekeeping to keep the work area clean and safe.
• Stay up‑to‑date with duty‑free allowances, age restrictions and related regulations.
• Engage customers, suggest additional items and promote sales.
• Represent the company’s brand and image at the front desk.
• Carry out any ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level qualification.
• At least 1 year of cashiering experience.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system.
