Cluster Head - Agency Channel

About the role

Prudential is hiring a Cluster Head to lead a team of Business Development Managers and build an effective, productive agency channel. You will work closely with the agency in converting sales opportunities, monitor sales activities and act as the link between the agency and operations, reporting to the Head of Business Development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Business Development Managers and be accountable for the team's KPIs and development
• Work with the Business Performance Team to develop cluster campaigns and new channels for agencies to acquire customers, such as roadshows, digital lead generation, associations and networking events
• Define and resolve complex issues in new situations and go beyond existing solutions and areas
• Drive sales through identified KPIs and strategic objectives, and implement sales management strategies to improve the quality of the business
• Help Financial Consultants and Agency Leaders reach their production targets through seminars, campaigns, sales training, objection handling and sharing of best practice by top producers
• Run quarterly cluster updates, recognitions and strategic initiatives to drive production, service and compliance
• Work with the designated underwriter and AML team on underwriting requirements, especially for HNW/Affluent cases
• Manage stakeholders through clear internal and external communication, and use digital and media to reach new customer segments

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Distribution Management or Business Development roles
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
• Preferred: CMFAS M5, M9, M9A and HI certifications
