Consultant / Senior Consultant - Data Management & Process Re-engineering

About the role

Sia Partners, a consulting firm focused on strategy, business transformation, IT and digital strategy and data science, is expanding in Singapore and is looking for an experienced management consultant with a background in client projects on data governance and transformation. The role involves projects with leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies across technology, finance, data and information management departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead data governance and frameworks in finance transformation projects
• Support managers and key stakeholders in executing client projects
• Work with other offices and the global network on cross-selling and sharing knowledge
• Share consulting best practices with the team and prepare materials for business development
• Review data requirements and help build and maintain data solutions
• Design and implement enterprise data strategies, including data governance and data frameworks
• Help formalize requirements (user stories, use cases, test cases) and map and document processes
• Provide data insights, recommend data consolidation and automate reports

Required profile

• 3 to 5 years of working experience
• Experience in a management consulting firm
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or similar
• Good understanding of insurance/banking processes and data domains is desirable
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization in the Asia Pacific region
• Only candidates based in Singapore with full work authorization will be considered; visa sponsorship is not provided

Required skills

• Project management skills
• Systems and process analysis, including the systems development process and project lifecycle
• Knowledge of ETL, data governance, data quality management and data quality tools
• Desirable: SQL, Java, UML data modeling, and exposure to business technology solutions
• Strong documentation skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
