Digital Business Analyst Intern

About the role

Avanade's Advisory & Experience practice is looking for a Digital Business Analyst intern to join project teams working on real client challenges such as AI for nurse handovers, smarter cities and future banking. The internship is full-time, ideally 6 months, and is open to graduating-year students in Business and IT.

Key responsibilities

• Run discovery and design workshops that map journeys, capture requirements and prototype wireframes.
• Translate ideas into structured insights: business requirements, user stories and process flows.
• Explore GenAI tools, data and design methods to strengthen client solutions.
• Collaborate with strategists, designers, engineers and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Graduating-year student in Business and IT.
• Curiosity about where strategy, design and technology meet.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Interest in digital experiences, GenAI and how organisations adapt to disruption.
• Availability for a full-time internship (ideally 6 months) with possible conversion based on performance.

Required skills

• Bonus: experience with wireframing (Figma, Miro, PowerPoint), process mapping or research.
• Exposure to the Microsoft tech stack (Azure, OpenAI, Power Platform, Dynamics).
