Duty Manager - Pullman Singapore Hill Street

About the role

Pullman Singapore Hill Street, a 350-room hotel in Singapore with a rooftop bar, executive lounge, health and fitness centre and pool, is looking for a Duty Manager. The role is responsible for managing the front desk team and ensuring high-quality service and department standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily briefings and make sure all pertinent information is well received by team members.
• Manage and supervise all staff tasks so that the highest quality service is delivered and department standards are met.
• Communicate with the Front Office Manager on all matters regarding guest services and hotel operations.
• Ensure all guest-related issues are documented in the logbook.
• Be present at management level at all times, assisting guests with their needs and complaints tactfully and efficiently.
• Coordinate full-house situations and make the arrangements needed to handle overbooking and pledges.
• Handle complaints and emergencies in a level-headed manner.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and enjoyment of creating delightful moments for guests.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
