Facilities Manager (Integrated Development)

About the role

A skilled manager with property and building management experience in retail, commercial or mixed-use developments is sought to oversee the management of integrated community development projects. The role ensures the operational efficiency, sustainability and regulatory compliance of the building.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities to meet operational and user requirements, including Green Mark requirements.
• Manage, develop and report maintenance and cyclical replacement budgets, strategies and expense forecasts.
• Develop and monitor maintenance contracts, KPIs and service improvement strategies, including calling of maintenance contracts.
• Lead maintenance programmes, manage vendors and drive energy-efficient, green initiatives.
• Supervise vendors and contractors, reviewing their performance on completed integrated community developments and other State properties as required.
• Ensure proper handover and taking over of buildings, facilities and premises.

Required profile

• Qualification in Facilities Management, Building, Engineering, Real Estate or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building management covering operations, facilities and engineering, or related experience in retail, commercial or mixed-use developments.
• Experience managing integrated community developments and as a Managing Agent is a plus.
• Knowledge of building management best practices and green building certifications.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager, Singapore Certified Energy Manager or Green Mark Manager/Professional preferred.
