Finance Business Partner (Retail Stores)

About the role

Decathlon Singapore is looking for a Finance Business Partner for its retail stores. The role optimises management duties and supports decisions that contribute to lasting profitability, while acting as a counter-power by alerting to issues and proposing corrective actions. It covers both management accounting and financial accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to store decision-making and ensure financial reports (profit and loss, balance sheet) are reliable.
• Know retail key indicators and help store and operations leaders write SMART action plans.
• Take part regularly in operational meetings and work with supply and logistics finance partners to drive value-chain synergy.
• Manage accounting: ensure forecasts (sales, margins, hours, stock, expenses, investment) are reliable, monitor KPIs, review the rolling 12-month pilot plan and alert on stock levels and turnover.
• Manage financial accounting: ensure P&L reflects monthly income and expenses, gather business risks and verify the completeness and accuracy of inventory and fixed assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business).
• 3 to 5 years in a finance-related job such as external audit, finance planning or analysis.
• 2 to 4 years of Finance Business Partnering and/or planning and analysis experience.
• Previous managerial experience.
• Vital, dynamic personality able to take the lead with initiative.
