Financial Accountant - Bank

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Financial Accountant to join our banking team in Singapore. The role involves preparing accurate financial reports, handling reconciliations, and supporting month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Singapore accounting and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports.
• Perform daily/monthly reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Process staff reimbursements, vendor payments and journal entries.
• Support intercompany billing and settlements.
• Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end reporting.
• Support annual financial statement preparation and other accounting activities.
• Participate in finance process improvement and system projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
• Familiarity with Singapore accounting and tax requirements.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
