About the role
IKEA Jurong in Singapore is hiring a Food Assistant for its restaurant on a 1-year full-time contract. The role looks after customer well-being in the restaurant, keeps the Swedish Food Market stocked and maintains a clean, hygienic dining area.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers with their questions in a friendly way
- Replenish and maintain the Swedish Food Market with Swedish delicacies
- Cashiering
- Keep the restaurant clean and tidy, clearing and turning over tables
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times and follow Food Safety and Hygiene practices
Required profile
- Sales driven and passionate about food
- Enthusiastic about working in a team
- Enjoys a vibrant retail environment
- Confident in approaching and talking to people
- Good attention to detail, able to prioritise and organise work duties efficiently
