Guest Services Officer

About the role

Pullman Singapore Hill Street, a 350-room hotel in Singapore belonging to the Accor group, is hiring a Guest Services Officer. The role sits within the Front Office areas, including the Front Desk, Executive Lounge and Concierge, and welcomes guests with a warm welcome and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and other cashiering duties
• Register guests and assign rooms according to reservation confirmations
• Maximise room revenue by upselling higher room categories
• Prepare VIP arrivals, prepare the VIP list and send it to operations daily
• Recommend tourist attractions and prepare VIP amenities for Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Limitless members and suite-paying guests
• Update, check and input ACDC, maintain guest confidentiality and keep the front office clean and tidy
• Work with Housekeeping on room status, follow credit and cash-handling policies, and use internal communication logs
• Perform Executive Lounge and Concierge duties when required, handle guest feedback and alert Security or the Duty Manager to suspicious persons or items
• Know emergency procedures, attend briefings, meetings and trainings, and carry out other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Secondary or high school education
• Good reading and oral English; speaking other languages and basic understanding of local ones is an advantage
• No experience required; training is provided
• Well-presented and professionally groomed
