HSE Officer – WSHO / CAG Project

About the role

The HSE Officer will lead workplace safety, health and environmental initiatives for the WSHO / CAG construction project across Singapore. You will ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and industry best practices while fostering a safety‑first culture on site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project‑specific HSE management system in line with corporate procedures.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks; prepare detailed analytics reports.
• Provide coaching, training and safety briefings to all workforce members.
• Identify gaps in WSH/Environmental processes and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate HSE records, manage Permit‑to‑Work documentation and oversee emergency preparedness drills.
• Liaise with authorities and advise the Project Director/Manager on HSE matters.
• Support initiatives to achieve HSE awards and certifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and environmental regulations.
