Innovation & Sustainability Lead

About the role

Advario is looking for an Innovation & Sustainability Lead (m/f/d) to join its Sustainability department in Singapore, starting as soon as possible. The role covers strategy, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement around energy efficiency, carbon reduction, water and waste management and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the company's innovation and sustainability strategy, aligned with global objectives, and identify and deploy innovative technologies and startup solutions.
• Lead sustainability projects on energy efficiency, carbon reduction and climate risk mitigation, water and waste management, and digital and AI-driven transformation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards such as GRI and ISCC certifications, lead GHG emissions verification and oversee sustainability certification processes.
• Build and maintain an internal and external sustainability network to share best practices.
• Develop and track KPIs and roadmaps aligned with Net Zero ambitions, and manage ESG data collection, analysis and reporting for annual sustainability reports, shareholder and HQ updates and ESG audits.
• Act as an innovation and sustainability ambassador, promoting awareness through workshops, initiatives and employee engagement programmes, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive ownership and accountability.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies/Science, Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in innovation/sustainability, engineering or related fields, ideally in the oil, gas or chemical industry.
• Strong background in ESG reporting, GHG accounting and sustainability frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of oil and gas operations and plant management is an advantage.
