Lead Demand Planner – Manufacturing

About the role

As Lead Demand Planner at NTS Singapore you will act as the control tower for the factory, translating sales pipelines, customer forecasts and order history into actionable production schedules for a high‑mix, engineer‑to‑order environment.

Key responsibilities

• Drive rolling forecasts and S&OP/S&OE cycles across hundreds of part families.
• Translate demand signals into capacity constraints and shop‑floor priorities.
• Own order promising and lead‑time quoting together with Sales and Scheduling.
• Set planning parameters such as safety stock and buffers for low‑volume, variable demand.
• Track forecast accuracy and continuously improve inputs and methods.

Required profile

• 5+ years of demand/supply planning experience in high‑mix, low‑volume, job‑shop or ETO manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of machine‑shop operations and/or mechatronics assembly.
• Confident facilitator of cross‑functional trade‑off discussions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (Navision preferred, SAP, BAAN).
• Strong MRP fundamentals.
• Experience with forecasting, capacity planning and master scheduling.
