Lobby Ambassador (Front Office)

About the role

Raffles Hotel Singapore, a historic 19th-century luxury hotel, is looking for a Lobby Ambassador (Front Office) to manage the lobby operation and deliver the hotel's service experience across the entire guest journey. The role works closely with the Raffles Butler and covers cashiering, billing, administrative coordination and upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a seamless, personalised check-in experience and assist the F&B team in welcoming and seating restaurant guests.
• Handle cashiering and billing duties in coordination with the butlers and the Finance team.
• Act as Lobby Operation Coordinator: handle administrative tasks, prepare the lobby before guests arrive and manage the pre-arrival correspondence cycle.
• Maximise upsell and cross-sell opportunities, execute the annual upsell strategy and promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
• Ensure service meets brand SOPs, local SOPs and Forbes 5-star LQA standards, and follow up on security incidents and guest complaints with the Lobby Operations team.
• Adhere to the code of ethics, workplace safety and health policies, and contribute to corporate social responsibility and sustainability.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent English communication and the ability to communicate in a second language.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, good judgment and ability to work under pressure.
• Security and confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
