Lobby Operations Intern

About the role

Raffles Hotel Singapore, one of the few remaining 19th-century hotels, is looking for a Lobby Operations Intern. The intern helps manage the lobby operations and supports the delivery of the hotel's service experience throughout the guest journey, working closely with the Raffles Butler.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the Raffles guest experience through a seamless flow of processes, in close cooperation with the Raffles Butler, and provide a personalized check-in and checkout.
• Assist the F&B team in welcoming and seating restaurant patrons.
• Handle cashier and billing duties in coordination with the Raffles Butlers and the Finance team.
• Act as Lobby Operation Coordinator: handle administrative tasks, prepare for guest arrivals, and support the pre-arrival correspondence cycle.
• Maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities, execute the annual upsell strategy, and promote inter-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
• Ensure service standards match brand SOPs, local SOPs and LQA standards, and follow up on security incidents and guest complaints with the management team.
• Adhere to Accor Values, WHS policies and the code of ethics, and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a diploma or degree, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
• Retail or guest interaction experience.
• English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Reliable, personable, team player, flexible and adaptable to different working locations.
