Manager, Valuations and Modelling

About the role

EY-Parthenon is looking for a Manager to join its Valuation and Modelling team in Singapore. The team works across all industries and covers decision support, transaction evaluation, strategic planning and capital allocation, business case development, budgeting, forecasting and planning, data analytics and visualization, and bespoke model development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial modelling engagements for strategic planning, capital allocation, transaction support, investment appraisal, financial planning and reporting.
• Provide clients with modelling solutions, data analytics and analysis to solve complex business problems.
• Use technology, analytical tools and techniques to deliver insights and improve the value of services.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients and work in a collaborative team.
• Collaborate closely with other Transaction Advisory teams and the wider firm.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business, finance, economics or mathematics.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in valuation, financial modelling or FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance theory, risk and return, capital budgeting, statistics and forecasting.
• Ideally: CPA, CFA or CVA (Charted Valuer and Appraiser); a record of excellence in M&A, divestitures or carve-outs; experience in another large professional services firm; established industry networking.

Required skills

• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills, including cash flow, integrated financial statement, operational and decision support models.
• Ability to analyze, research and report on complex data.
• Ability to learn data analytics tools, including visualization software such as PowerBI, Spotfire, Tableau and Alteryx.
• Excellent business English and strong numerical and analytical skills.
