M&E Manager – Building & Industrial (Singapore)

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced M&E Manager to lead mechanical and electrical works for building and industrial projects across Singapore. You will be the primary point of contact for all M&E matters, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically oversee M&E operations, ensuring compliance with project schedules, regulations, codes, and safety protocols.
• Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly.
• Lead the integrated site team (M&E, structural, architectural coordinators) to meet consultant specifications and client expectations.
• Chair site CCM meetings, resolve technical clashes, and drive design issue resolution.
• Prepare and obtain approvals for M&E drawings, material submittals, and method statements in line with master schedules.
• Supervise M&E staff and subcontractors, ensuring on‑site execution matches approved documents.
• Control variation orders, produce progress reports, and escalate critical matters to headquarters.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting to prevent defects.
• Review consultant specifications, issue RFIs, and manage design discrepancies.
• Coordinate the full M&E lifecycle from inception to handover, including DLP support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
