Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to lead the integration of building services across a range of construction projects, including main contractor, general building, HDB and commercial developments throughout Singapore. The role reports to the Project Manager and works closely with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E works on‑site, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire‑protection systems.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and schedules for alignment with architectural and structural documents.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve design and site issues.
• Monitor progress, prepare regular reports and attend coordination meetings.
• Conduct inspections to verify safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Track material, tool and manpower requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning and hand‑over processes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on M&E coordination experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations and M&E system standards.
