Microservices Architect (Java)

About the role

Infosys Singapore & Australia is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technology Architect to join its digital team. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of software architecture principles, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and mentor development teams in building robust and scalable Java-based solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine application requirements and turn them into scalable, maintainable architectural designs.
• Design and architect microservices-based solutions aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
• Evaluate and select technologies, tools and frameworks for performance, scalability, security and other system qualities.
• Lead the development of microservices applications, including designing APIs, integrating services and ensuring data consistency and communication between services.
• Define service contracts, data models and interactions between microservices.
• Mentor development teams and review code, architecture and design decisions against best practices.
• Work with product managers, developers and testers to deliver projects successfully.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Java software development, focused on microservices architecture.
• Experience with Oracle database technologies.
• Experience with the Spring framework, Hibernate ORM and other Java frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and in a team.
