Payroll Associate / Consultant (Global Compliance & Reporting)

About the role

EY is hiring a Payroll Associate / Consultant in Singapore to deliver timely, accurate and high-quality payroll output that complies with local statutory regulations and the compensation details provided by clients. The role covers monthly payroll processing, tax filing and reporting, and client support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly payroll in line with Singapore statutory requirements
• File Singapore income tax returns (Form IR8A/IR21)
• Handle government paid leave claim submissions
• Produce monthly payroll reports, including the General Ledger report
• Answer client queries promptly and accurately
• Support general administrative tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accountancy or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of local payroll experience for an associate, 3 years for a consultant
• Good knowledge of HR functions, payroll and employment-related laws and best practices in Singapore
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Numerical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills

Required skills

• Strong spreadsheet skills; MS Excel is essential
• Good knowledge of MS Word
• Ideally, the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
