QA Engineer / Senior Engineer - Manufacturing

About the role

A leading precision engineering and solutions provider in Singapore is hiring a QA Engineer or Senior Engineer for its manufacturing business in the South West area. The role covers product quality inspection and leads a small team of QC inspectors. It is a permanent, full-time position based in Buroh, with a salary of SGD 2,800 to 5,500.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products according to customer requirements
• Lead and supervise a team of QC inspectors on incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections
• Coordinate with production on quality issues and liaise with vendors and customers on complaints and feedback
• Initiate non-conformance analysis and close corrective and preventive action plans
• Manage the QMS documentation system
• Take part in internal and external quality audits

Required profile

• At least 4-5 years of QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years for a junior-level position)
• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work independently and as a team player

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good knowledge of QA techniques, procedures and methodologies
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D or other regulatory requirements is an advantage
