Quality Assurance Manager - Precision Engineering

About the role

A leading precision engineering and solutions provider in Singapore is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for its South West site. The role focuses on the quality system, compliance and prevention of quality issues, working with production, engineering and the QC team. The position is permanent and full-time, based in Buroh.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's QMS, procedures and quality documentation, including ISO/AS/medical requirements, audits, CAPA and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 and customer requirements.
• Coordinate internal, customer and certification audits.
• Manage CAPA, RCA, 8D and corrective actions, and monitor quality performance.
• Ensure proper document control, records and traceability.
• Work with Production, Engineering and QC to resolve quality issues, and with the QC Manager to improve the Quality Department's efficiency.
• Support customer and supplier quality requirements and drive improvements to reduce rejection, rework, scrap and customer complaints.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QMS experience in manufacturing or precision engineering.
• Experience in medical, semiconductor or aerospace industries preferred.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of ISO 9001; knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 13485 is an advantage.
• Experience in audits, CAPA, RCA and 8D.
