Regional Catering Operations Manager - Far East (Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand)

About the role

Emirates is looking for a Regional Catering Operations Manager for its Far East region, covering Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. The role manages food and beverage delivery, flight handling, quality, cost efficiency and stock management together with Emirates' global catering service providers, and leads operations across the assigned regions in line with business needs. It is open to applicants who hold Singaporean, Thai, Hong Kong citizenship or are Chinese nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement catering operations standards and procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with regional service providers, working with Service Delivery teams.
• Manage and optimise catering operations, food and beverage, flight handling, stock management, laundry and third-party suppliers within approved budgets.
• Monitor and improve the performance of contracted service providers through regular compliance audits against agreed standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement station-level menu designs and services.
• Collaborate with F&B and Service Design teams on menu design, trial of new concepts and celebratory promotions.
• Work with Finance and Procurement to negotiate and validate costs, ensure accurate invoicing and best value.
• Lead the catering department's representation in vendor selection and manage regional catering contracts and supplier relationships.
• Manage and develop the regional catering team, including performance management and succession planning.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or F&B Management, or equivalent food safety certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in an airline catering environment, preferably in a senior chef or culinary role.
• At least 5 years of experience in airline catering operations or supplier operational audits.
• Proven ability to manage teams, work with key stakeholders and handle pressure with initiative and self-motivation.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of global food product and service delivery trends.
• Knowledge of food production, development, food safety and product distribution.
• Good contract management and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
