Regional Engineering Solutions Manager

About the role

Keenfinity, a provider of security and professional communication solutions, is hiring a Regional Engineering Solutions Manager based in Singapore. The role leads the Solutions Engineering function across Asia Pacific, covering technical delivery, team performance, resource planning and customer support for Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions. It combines regional people management with technical expertise in professional audio system design, acoustic modelling and product application. The manager leads the team in China and India and provides personal engineering support elsewhere in Asia Pacific, with travel across the region required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the regional Solutions Engineering team, set objectives, run performance reviews, coach staff and plan recruitment and onboarding.
• Manage workload allocation, project assignments and resource deployment across markets, and report priorities, performance and risks to the Global Technical Director of Growth.
• Design and review professional audio system designs, prepare or validate bills of materials and system specifications, and advise consultants, system integrators, distributors and end users.
• Develop acoustic simulation models and performance predictions using EASE and related software, and lead technical presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities.
• Act as the regional escalation point for complex design and application challenges, coordinating resolution with global teams.
• Coordinate regional technical training priorities, deliver product and system design training, support certification programmes and represent the brands at industry events and trade shows.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training and Technical Support, and contribute to technical documentation and new product readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in professional audio and AV engineering.
• Demonstrated experience managing technical teams across multiple countries, and proven experience designing and specifying complex professional audio systems.
• Ability to work across cultures and to travel internationally as required.
• Preferred: experience managing a Solutions Engineering or applications engineering function in Asia Pacific, and experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of acoustics, loudspeaker systems, DSP platforms, networking and audio transport technologies.
• Acoustic modelling and simulation tools such as EASE or equivalent.
• English communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
