About the role
The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a Research Fellow to design and implement advanced machine‑learning algorithms that support its interdisciplinary research programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, improve and apply AI/ML algorithms to classify and predict data and images generated by IDMxS.
- Collaborate with researchers across multiple clusters to integrate machine‑learning solutions into ongoing projects.
- Supervise PhD and undergraduate student projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Publish research findings in top‑tier journals and present at leading conferences.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong background in machine learning with a record of first‑author publications in high‑impact venues.
- Proficiency in AI programming languages, particularly Python.
