Safety Physician/Scientist – Global Medical Safety (Singapore)

About the role

Lundbeck is seeking a Safety Physician/Scientist to join its Global Medical Safety team in Singapore. This temporary contract position offers the chance to work on safety surveillance for marketed brain‑disorder products, collaborating with international colleagues across the US, Denmark and Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medical review and assessment of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
• Generate safety evidence, conduct risk‑minimisation activities and interpret safety data analyses.
• Conduct benefit‑risk assessments and contribute medical‑scientific input to regulatory documents.
• Draft safety reports such as PSURs, RMP inputs and signal detection reports.
• Represent Global Patient Safety on the Safety Committee and work with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• University qualification in medical science or dentistry (e.g., MD, M.B.B.S, BDS).
• Strong knowledge of disease clinical manifestations, co‑morbidities and treatments.
• Team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Required skills

• Pharmacovigilance (PV) experience in pharma or biotech.
• Familiarity with global PV regulations and Good Pharmacovigilance Practice (GVP).
• Medical review and benefit‑risk assessment expertise.
