Sales Support Intern

About the role

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the sales and proposal process within ABB Motion Drives Products. You will work closely with sales teams, customers and stakeholders to prepare proposals, coordinate documentation and support customer inquiries, including organizing tenders and preparing commercial and technical documents. The position reports to the Application and Tender Manager and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of customer proposals, quotations, tender submissions and related documentation by coordinating information from sales teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing product descriptions, presentations, customer materials and proposal documents.
• Collaborate with the sales team to gather information, track proposal progress, keep accurate records and ensure timely submission of customer requirements.
• Support market and opportunity analysis, maintain proposal and sales data and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in sales support, bid management, proposal preparation, business operations or customer engagement within a global technology company.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, keep documentation accurate and meet deadlines.
