Senior Analyst, Quality Control (Chromatography)

About the role

Lonza is hiring a Senior Analyst, Quality Control (Chromatography) for its Tuas site in Singapore. You will perform timely testing and analysis of in-process and final product samples in compliance with SOPs and cGMP, ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. The role is fully site-based and involves supporting lab operations, sample logistics and analytical methods such as HPLC, spectroscopy, CE-SDS and icIEF.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze bulk product, in-process and stability samples according to SOPs and test methods.
• Document results in line with cGMP and support method transfers and validation.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and equipment, and take part in equipment qualification and technical selection of QC equipment, standards and reagents.
• Carry out assay trend analysis and document revisions.
• Support HPLC equipment maintenance and qualification, and general lab tasks such as housekeeping, equipment maintenance, inventory and supply ordering.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Science or equivalent.
• Relevant work experience, preferably lab experience in a biotech or medically related field.

Required skills

• Good understanding of HPLC and Empower software.
• Understanding and execution of spectroscopy and other assigned methods, including chromatography methods, protein concentration (A280 or SoloVPE) and other physicochemical methods.
