Senior Consultant - Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Infosys Singapore & Australia is hiring a Senior Consultant-Senior Software Engineer in Singapore within its banking and financial services practice. The role covers end-to-end delivery of system implementation projects, including solution design, development, testing and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end projects for the system implementation of the MLS system.
• Collaborate with Architects, Security and Development Lead so that solution design follows enterprise design principles, security and control standards.
• Work with the Technical Delivery Manager to plan deliverables and schedules, set up environments and take part in solution design and development.
• Escalate issues affecting the project schedule and propose workarounds or resolutions.
• Create technical documentation and compile timely, accurate documentation as requested.
• Implement project change requests in line with the deployment schedule.
• Partner with Test Management teams to complete SIT, UAT, performance/load testing and application security testing.
• Provide technical and testing support before and after production deployment, and liaise with other IT and business units.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience with Red Hat Linux, Unix shell scripting, Java and JBoss/WebLogic/Tomcat.
• At least 4 years coordinating with cross technical teams.
• At least 3 years in SQL, MariaDB/Oracle, NoSQL, Jenkins/DevOps CI-CD and Control-M.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data, including ingestion and processing.
• Excellent English communication skills and strong teamwork.

• Cloudera Hadoop/Hive/HBase/HDFS, Yarn, MapReduce, Spark, Sqoop, SFTP, FTP, REST, SOAP, Bitbucket/Git.
• Ability to configure, monitor and troubleshoot Hadoop clusters and resolve authentication, authorization and encryption issues with LDAP.
• Networking, firewall, VPN, SSL, Kerberos, load balancing and high availability.
• MS Teams, SharePoint, MS Office, JIRA, Confluence, Remedy, Aldon.
• Python, data engineering, data warehousing and analytics.
