Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this role you will lead the design and development of mechanical systems for building and infrastructure projects, delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of our industry.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee mechanical engineering designs for buildings and related infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Select and specify mechanical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, and process engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage projects, controlling budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Perform technical reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in water infrastructure.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits and surveys to support design and implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering for building and infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record delivering engineering designs, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems used in water treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
