Senior Principal - Telco

About the role

Infosys Consulting, the management consulting arm of Infosys, is building its Communications, Media and Hi-Tech (CMT) digital consultancy practice in the APAC region. It is looking for an experienced management consultant with deep telco knowledge, sales and delivery experience to support the growing APAC practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage large and complex consulting engagements and multiple proposal processes.
• Advise clients and key stakeholders on best practices, methodologies and state-of-the-art knowledge of IT and operations to create customer value.
• Own new business development, revenue management, client delivery excellence and team guidance, acting as a trusted client advisor.
• Deliver independently on work items such as telecom product knowledge, digital, end-to-end customer journey and design thinking.
• Take responsibility for recruiting, coaching and competency development, and hold a leadership role in the CMT practice.
• Lead key client stakeholder relationships through managing overall delivery.
• Support project managers in project delivery and coach team members on soft and hard skills.
• Open conversations with new and existing clients that lead to revenue-generating opportunities.

Required profile

• Professional experience in management consulting, engagement management, client relationship management and thought leadership.
• Significant experience and a solid track record in the telecommunications sector; experience in high technology, media, digital or start-ups is beneficial.
• Recognized as a leader in the industry or practice with an established reputation as an expert.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including analyzing client operations data to find process bottlenecks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence clients and communicate technical ideas.

Required skills

• Strong technical and business analysis skills, including requirements elaboration and long-term goal planning.
• Working knowledge of industry key players and several technology standards.
• Proven ability to meet challenging goals, deadlines and objectives.
