Service Engineer - Marine / Aquaculture

About the role

A permanent, full-time Service Engineer position in the marine and aquaculture sector, based in South West Singapore. The role covers onboard maintenance, inspection, repair and troubleshooting of equipment, and includes supervising technicians and engineers on site.

Key responsibilities

• Attend onboard for maintenance, inspection, repair, troubleshooting and modification
• Manage field activities and schedules, and resolve malfunctions
• Oversee repairs and technical improvements, and install new systems and technology
• Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment and supervise technicians and engineers on site
• Make service reports covering job progress, travel time, technical advice and recommendations, and report progress to management
• Provide technical support and training for customers, service agents and internal teams
• Arrange parts and drawings for agents, maintain tools, and create manuals and support documents
• Gather customer feedback, review maintenance lists and service reports for sales support, and collaborate with team members

Required profile

• Diploma in electronic or electrical engineering or a relevant field
• At least 4 years of experience in vessel main engine automation systems or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to keep up with the latest industry advances and technology

Required skills

• Proficiency in engineering principles and hands-on experience with equipment or systems
• Good knowledge of electrical systems

What we offer

• Pay of SGD 4,800 to 5,000, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with overtime pay
