Workplace Operations Coordinator

About the role

Wise, a global technology company, is looking for an energetic, highly organised and proactive Workplace Operations Coordinator to join its team in Singapore. The role sits at the heart of the office culture and combines day-to-day building operations and facilities management with community management, delivering a welcoming, inclusive workplace that supports the company's hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Community management: build relationships, gather feedback and plan and run workplace events, social activities and onboarding sessions every two weeks, evaluating them on attendance, satisfaction and impact
• Communicate building updates, guidelines and events through Slack and other internal channels, and guide new hires on using office amenities
• Curate and manage food and beverage offerings in the pantry
• Cover the front desk during core hours, receive and distribute mail, coordinate couriers and handle workplace helpdesk tickets
• Perform regular walkthroughs, partner with building management on landlord issues and vendor supervision, and coordinate local vendors and invoices
• Ensure event setups meet operational and landlord requirements
• Partner with the Workplace Safety Team on risk assessments, fire safety, first aid and accident reporting
• Identify process improvements and support local workplace projects

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in workplace community building, facilities management, hospitality or events
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Willingness to work from the office five days a week
• Nice to have: understanding of M&E electrical plans and technical building systems, experience with Google Workspace, Slack and ticketing tools such as Jira or ServiceNow, and familiarity with tech/startup cultures
