Workplace Safety & Health Officer (Contract)

About the role

The Workplace Safety & Health Officer will support QES Management in maintaining a safe construction environment across Singapore. You will conduct inspections, assess risks, and ensure compliance with local safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform safety and health inspections, document unsafe acts, and report findings with photographic evidence.
• Assist site managers in identifying and assessing foreseeable risks and recommend practicable control measures.
• Prepare and submit safety and health documentation to authorities.
• Investigate incidents, produce preliminary reports, and support injury compensation claims.
• Coordinate safety orientation and training courses for workers.
• Deliver in‑house safety training to raise awareness and knowledge.
• Develop, review, and update risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Attend client and site meetings as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in building and road works.
• Ability to work a 5.5‑day week and start soon.
• Medically fit to perform site duties.
