Sales Specialist, Investment Banking

About the role

LSEG is hiring a Sales Specialist for its Investment Banking proposition in Singapore/Pacific. The role acts as a subject matter specialist supporting Account Managers, drives gross sales and revenue, leads deals and serves accounts within a defined territory. Coverage includes bankers from Corporate Banking, Institution Banking, M&A, DCM, ECM, syndicated loans, public financings, project finance and joint ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Hunt, structure, negotiate and close deals.
• Develop the sales strategy for the proposition within the territory.
• Proactively identify pipeline opportunities, governed by the Account Managers.
• Share LSEG thought leadership on the proposition with customers and deliver customer demonstrations.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in finance or banking, or industry qualifications.
• Deep market understanding: authority understanding of financial markets, CRM system knowledge and understanding of customers' business models and workflows.
• Extraordinary selling skills as a "hunter" and strong communication skills.
• Strategic territory planning and execution skills.
• Significant product and workflow expertise, such as financial modelling.
• Over 5 years of industry, sales or market experience, with a proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment.
• Experience selling to C-level executives.
