Business Development & Sales Intern

About the role

Toll Group, a logistics, transport and supply chain company part of Japan Post, is looking for a Business Development and Sales Intern. The internship lasts 6 or 12 months and offers hands-on experience supporting customer acquisition, market research and commercial activities across several industries.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential customers in retail (beauty), e-commerce, healthcare, wine and spirits, FMCG and automotive, and build a pipeline of prospects
• Carry out initial outreach and appointment setting, and follow up on leads and enquiries
• Map the market and competitors in logistics and supply chain, track industry trends and opportunities, and help prepare meeting materials and presentations
• Coordinate customer meetings, maintain records, and support relationship-building
• Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates and activity trackers, and maintain prospect and customer databases
• Support general administration for the Sales and Client Management team

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in sales, customer engagement and the logistics industry
• Must be entitled to work in Singapore and willing to undergo pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical
