Sales Associate – Virtual Data Room

About the role

SS&C Intralinks, the creator of the world's first virtual data room and a leading provider of fintech solutions for capital markets, M&A and alternative investments, is hiring a Sales Associate. You will join a global team with offices in New York, London, Milan, Singapore, Sydney and Madrid, and take part in a 9-month onboarding programme.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in a comprehensive sales training bootcamp covering sales skills, customer experience, CRM strategies and the company's sales methodology.
• Own accounts, prospect them and build relationships with M&A deal professionals to source sales opportunities.
• Present the product's value proposition and uncover customer requirements through sales discovery.
• Support the sales team in growing market share and exceeding revenue targets.
• Learn internal processes, systems and tools, and support both business development and customer support.
• Co-host virtual and on-site client events and sell the product using Solution Selling techniques.

Required profile

• Direct sales experience.
• Driven to build a career in sales, competitive and results-oriented.
• Strong communicator able to build rapport quickly, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Positive attitude, quick learner, coachable and good at time management.
• Advantageous: a degree in Finance, Business Administration or Sales, sales-related internships, and multilingualism.
