Director, Market Transformation, Asia Pacific

About the role

The AP Market Development team is looking for a Director to lead high-priority transformation engagements across Asia Pacific markets. The role partners with the EVP Market Development Lead, regional leaders, market leadership, product teams and cross-functional partners to diagnose structural growth barriers, shape transformation plans and drive execution of complex, time-bound initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end diagnosis, planning and execution of selected market transformation engagements, turning ambiguous business challenges into workplans, milestones, governance and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with country, regional, product, commercial, finance, legal and delivery teams to structure solutions for non-standard opportunities and complex growth priorities.
• Develop executive-ready materials such as business cases, decision papers and progress updates.
• Drive engagement governance, including intake assessment, prioritization, issue escalation, stakeholder alignment and tracking of financial and strategic impact.
• Provide hands-on leadership to cross-functional project teams across multiple markets and workstreams.
• Identify repeatable insights, operating model improvements and capability gaps.

Required profile

• Strong strategic problem-solving skills and the ability to turn complex, ambiguous issues into practical plans and executive decisions.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives, transformation projects, strategic planning, business development or complex commercial execution.
• Confident communicator and influencer who can build credibility with senior stakeholders and align teams.
• Strong execution discipline, analytical judgment, stakeholder management and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced regional environment.
• High integrity, curiosity, ownership and a collaborative mindset.
